What determines whether a damaged component can be repaired?
The team considers material, deformation or crack location, mounting points, sealing surfaces, finish, graphics, safety relevance and replacement availability. A photograph alone may not show every deciding factor.
Why are mounts, brackets and hardware part of the review?
A visible scrape or crack can exist alongside displaced brackets, broken tabs, stressed supports or damaged hardware. Fit and attachment condition affect the complete repair direction.
Can one painted component be evaluated by itself?
It can be documented individually, but the finish and assembly often relate to adjacent panels, graphics, gaps and hardware. The final plan should account for how the component returns to the whole motorcycle.
